At Statewide Security Management, we believe an effective management of occupational health and safety (OHS) requires a system that will continuously seek to identify any potential workplace hazards, assess the risks associated with them, and implement and review control measures to ensure they are effective in eliminating or reducing the risk
We acknowledge that regardless of how technically correct or advanced an OHS system is within a company, it can only assist in reducing workplace illness and injury.
At Statewide Security Management we are duty bound to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all of our employees, clients and members of the public. We are compliant with the relevant act, have an accredited and trained Workplace Health & Safety Officer and also have Workers Compensation Insurance Policies in place should an injury occur. Injury Management is an important process also, again managed by a Workcover Certified Rehabilitation Coordinator.
To ensure the safety of our employees, we consider in advance, the jobs to be performed by our employees. We take due care to inform, train and protect them from hazards and should a hazard be identified, we undertake the necessary action to manage any hazard identified.
